responsibilities

Evangelos Maridakis joined EM Group Netherlands in January 2023 as Legal Account Manager. Evan's role involves acting as the "director" for client companies, overseeing a wide range of legal and corporate matters. This includes drafting and reviewing legal documents such as board and shareholder resolutions, power of attorneys, loan agreements, and contracts. He manages the administration of financial documents, arranges and participates in board meetings, and takes minutes independently. Additionally, Evan supports the incorporation, maintenance, and dissolution of client companies, assists with compliance reviews, and handles the onboarding of new clients. He also managing clients on a global level and provides legal expertise to the company's internal legal structure.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
& EDUCATION

After obtaining his first BA in social theology and his theology professor degree, he worked for two years as a professor. He then decided to follow his true passion and pursued a BA in law at the University of Cyprus. After being admitted to the Athens Bar Association in 2018, he opened his legal practice and obtained a master's in private law from the University of Amsterdam. Evangelos has represented various clients in court and was the legal counsel of the Greek Minister of Migration and Asylum for nearly two years. He also was a legal associate in a top tier Greek law firm for one year focusing in company and commercial law.
