Stefanie Knoester is the co-CEO of EM Group.

As co-CEO, Stefanie is responsible for overseeing the offices of EM Group worldwide, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and providing high quality services to our clients globally. Stefanie is responsible for defining EM Group’s strategic direction and enhancing the company’s growth.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
& EDUCATION

Stefanie earned her degree in criminal and tax law from the University of Amsterdam and is registered as a lawyer at the Joint Court of Justice of Aruba, Curaçao, St. Maarten, Bonaire and St. Eustatius and Saba. After graduating in 2009, Stefanie started her career as a corporate lawyer specializing in economic and tax crime at the criminal defense law firm Sjöcrona van Stigt in the Netherlands. In 2014, she moved to Curaçao to work as a corporate lawyer in the financial sector on the island. In 2021, Stefanie moved to Malta to become the Managing Director of the Malta office, and in 2025, she returned to Curaçao.
